Writing dialogue is a way to present conversations or exchanges between characters in an engaging and natural manner. It is used to show communication and relationships between characters in a story or scene.

Rules for Writing Dialogue:

• Start with the character's name:
  Before starting the dialogue, give the characters their names. This helps to introduce the speakers.

• Keep it simple:
  The dialogue should be clear, straightforward, and relevant. The meaning must be clear to the reader or listener.
  Use short sentences and ensure the conversation is direct and to the point.
• Express emotions within the conversation:
  Use specific words or phrases to express the emotions or feelings of the character in the dialogue.
  Example:
  Mother: (surprised) "Can you really walk that fast?"
• Use cinematic or dramatic tone:
  Like real life, a person may respond to another person’s statement. Remember that there should be an exchange of words in dialogue.
• Use punchlines (if applicable):
  If you're writing humorous or serious dialogue, you can use punchlines or quotes that add flavor.
• Use expressions, gestures, or internal thoughts:
  Add specific words or expressions to show external events or internal thoughts.
  Example:
  Sujan: "Oh no, it's raining again. I'm going to get soaked!" (in a surprised or annoyed tone)
• Use brackets (if needed):
  Sometimes, brackets are used to convey a character's emotions or expressions.
  Example: (laughing) or (feeling pain)
• Space out the dialogue:
  Write each character's dialogue on a separate line. This keeps the dialogue organized and clear for the reader.

Mother: "What happened at school today?"

Sujan: "Today, our teacher taught us something new, Mom!"

Mother: (laughing) "What did you learn?"

Sujan: "Teacher said, sports are more important than studies!"

This is a simple and natural dialogue example showing a conversation between a mother and her child.
